How to Download Becoming a Successful Faculty Member: Conversations with a Safe Mentor MOBI
The transition for doctoral student or post-doctoral fellow to successful faculty member and/or scientist can be challenging. This book is a collection of letters and essays that I have written to my current and former doctoral students related to their transition to successful faculty member.. Throughout my many years as a mentor, I have had graduate faculty from a number of universities ask for my permission to distribute this content to their own doctoral advisees. Recently, some of these colleagues have urged me to collect these pieces in a way that they could be disseminated broadly and used as a mentoring tool. This electronic book is the result. It is recommended as a resource for doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows, young faculty members, and any faculty who serve as mentors to these young academicians.
